Rebirth Of The Great Mage is a novel which tells the story of a world which has succumbed into devastation because of magic’s misuse. The society had collapsed, and practically everything stopped working, and the civilization was about to be destroyed in its entirety.
However, as bad as things may seem, not everything is lost. The story takes advantage of a standard literary resource, time travelling. The protagonist travels to the past and has to alter the events which lead humanity to destruction due to magic. That way, the apocalypse can be avoided, but things are not as easy as they seem.
Although the premise of the plot may seem a bit generic, several readers have praised the author’s originality when it comes to character design and magic system.
Instead of giving us the typical "weak to strong" character with very childish behaviour, we can see some proper personality development not only from the main character but also from the supporting ones.
As some of the novels which deal with time travel, there are plot holes which are not explained. However, as the story advances, the read becomes more submerged into it. It gets more interesting as the chapters pass
The story can be seen as complicated by some people, and some other ones have been demonstrating their dislike for the main character, but that’s because most people are not used to see such a unique main character in novels of the same style.
